The gens ace are nice but big money could only afford 2-3 batts. whereas turnigys I could get 4. used turnigy's on 130x and no problems. So the hobby king uk site is turnigy?

Up to you mate, just remember you get what you pay for.

In my experience the gensace are of the same quality as the optipower ones and in this size they are half the price (almost).

Start with fewer packs you can always buy more later.

      What level is your flying?

My level of flying is, Very comfortable inverted in the real world, circuits are ok but not perfect inverted with a 130x(tail, nose and side in), piro flips both ways(not perfectly joined as yet), in the real world ditto. Tic toc's are rubbish on the 130x but ok on the sim, both elevator and aileron tic-tocs. Wanted something more reliable and stable to slowly build up these moves in the real world. So a big no no to turnigy batteries?

Ok... Thing is you'll start pushing the packs quite hard and the turnigy's will likely fade. I'd suggest getting packs that will be able to perform as you get better.

If you're learning tic tocs you'll most likely use too much collective which nails packs. The gens ace are robust and will live through this

I'm sure you'll get conflicting opinions saying turnigy's are great but I've never seen them last when used for 3d.

            My vote is gens ace.

many on here will say the turnigy is a perfectly good lipo for a decent price....they are hard to ignore. I've had two orders with hobby king and both were a nightmare! I won't deal with them again and prefer to pay a little extra for a UK company who you can call on the phone if you have issues.

These were getting good reviews and were what i would have gone for. Haiyin – 6S 2650mAh 30C – (x3) « ElectriFlyer The pack works out at £31.66 plus post and elictricflyer are a great supplier.

I'd suggest getting three of these (or the gens ace as they are very good also) and buying more at a later date.

Completely agree with reality bites - although I have tried the haiyins and they puffed for me. Their c rating isn't up to it.

For a few quid more the gens ace are a perfect option......when i was looking, i couldn't find the ones you listed in stock. I did have the 1200mha versions for my warp and they were great!

Yeah I use the 1200's in my 450 and they rock! 2700's are no different.
