The same reason that if you organise a competition then the best conditions will be the day before and the day after the event, with naff weather for the meeting.

Just now after work had 4 packs with the 450 practicing some tidy figure 8s instead of the slack all over the place garbage I was doing before..

Lovely evening and hardly any wind..

I've just been out to test the new 500 for first flight as the wind had dropped right off and wow what a heli, 450 nibble-ness and 600 stabability, and with the flightpower evo 25 2500 6S packs, no deteriation on head speed at all.

forecast for this weekend (East Anglia) is absolute pants - lets hope they've got it completely wrong, its a whole 4-6 days away, and we should all pray to any/all deities for any weather not involving precipitation!

I had my lessons booked with Noel last week - took the day off and it blew a force 9 gale!! Next day calm as you like.

Noel did test fly the Raptor though -apparently it's rock solid but it certainly didn't look it.!

Rebooked for 28th PM - fingers firmly crossed

Why is everyone surprised about the bad weather ?

It is March you know then apparently April.... Rain maybe an issue

Bank Holiday weekend coming up and we all know that means snow cold wind and rain

How can anyone be surprised at the weather right now ?

Plus the UK is on the same lattitude as Moscow, so why do we expect our weather to be any better...?
