Bizarre.

I'd fixed up my elyq reg but no remote switch and that's handy. So google to see if anyone actually has one around

A place in europe with one for a couple of euros and 9 euros courier charge.. possible
EvroRC wanted £9.38 - well their right to charge what they like and that's possibly including post since they state free post on all orders 'terms and conditions apply' - but reference to those conditions isn't linked..
Skyline models have the item for £2.34 - seemed fair so I stick one in the basket and go to checkout with paypal - quotes a £5 additional charge for using paypal!! Cancel that and elect to use a debit card (plod downstairs to find one).. BUT their system points out that they will decide/charge postage when they know what it is. OK I went ahead and ordered 'cos I trust they have enough sense to be fair over that; a jiffy bag and a couple of stamps but it hardly encourages you to use their mail order system again...

Previously they were close enough to me to just drive over and collect, but now they have moved that is no longer an option.

I was really hoping this was something they were going to change as it leaves them a relatively poor choice compared to pretty much everyone else who will tell you the full cost at point of order ...

If it's small and lightweight the postage shouldn't be anything silly. I recently got two pairs of KBDD tail blades from them and the postage was £1.75.

Don't worry about the shipping costs , after my last order with them failed to arrive after a week, started to phone them,told not bothered/no time to look for canopy's moor phone calls later told would not be sending and refunding. Then was not willing to hear my complaints and hung up on me. A company with this sort of customer relations sucks.I can only recommend not using their mail order service.

As I would assume .. but not really the point. One expects of buying with a debit card that it's debited once via secure systems at the time of purchase not either info hung onto and debited later or debited twice....

Seems like they have not correctly update the stock count after the change of location, or at least they can't actually find everything they have moved so you can't be 100% sure they will actually ship an item even if it does show in stock.

Some work needed to bring the business up to current standards and to restore confidence I'd say ...

I've spent £1000s over the years with Skyline and never had issues, if I did Bob sorted them out PDQ.
Hope they do sort them selfs out soon,, a good rep take years to build but very quick to lose,,

I can accept them working out the postage at shipping time, it's the £5 for Paypal that stops me from using them for mail order stuff

Me too, I never had any qualms about buying from them when they had something I was looking for. To be honest I never even
noticed the postage was not being included in the online store, so when it didn't show on my last order I thought it was just a
website glitch. Anyway, they were always helpful and I have never had any problems. It's probably just a website programming
issue that needs doing now that things have changed hands, they just need to get a shipping module on there by weight
or linked to a Royal Mail pricing table etc.

Gryphon pin flag switch works great. You have to swap the servo connector pins over however.
