  • goblin 500 tail servo

hi people,i brought a brand new goblin 500 off ebay about a month ago and just soldered all the plugs on etc.I just flashed a touch on the tail servo to see what it is and the blokes put a futaba s9256 in it.Now Im probably wrong but im sure these were only compatible with the gy401 and not the spectrum ar7200bx that ive just brought???????????cyclic servo's are align ds510m's,any help appreciated and if I cant use it then any suggestions please??????? oh and by the looks of it the tail might have to come off to take it out

You just need to set the AR7200BX for a 760uS tail servo BEFORE you plug it in.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

just be careful when you have the ball on the servo arm as it
can hit the side of the servo, had to put a shorter ball on mine

+1 to what is said above. Set the tail speed in the BX before you plug it in and I had to use a shorter ball too to avoid hitting the servo.

You can unclip the servo without removing the tail - getting the ball link pliers in can be a bit of a squeeze, but they do fit.
