well i sat here wondering , so joined in the live chat , oh er , and the person the other end says the 700e assault will not be coming to the uk warehouse anytime soon , pity that , and just checked when they gonna restock HK warehouse , daisy said there was no time set for arrival of new kits

if you really fancy one of those you could try to source a Gartt GT700 from somewhere - apart from the canopy scheme - its the same model - actually I think HK just OEM'd it ..

I have seen them on alibaba.com under the name of gartt 700 but you have to be careful on that site (personally wouldn't bother).

Shame their not bringing it to the uk.. i can't understand why they just can't get their act together and hold proper stock in the warehouse.

I've only ever bought one high(ish) value item from AliExpress... I'll never do it again. If it arrives broken or missing parts, you may as well kiss your money goodbye.

Shame about the heli not coming to the UK. I was looking forward to getting one.

I can imagine that going badly wrong. You may get away with it with a battery or ESC or similar from HK, but a 700-size heli kit? Surely that's bound to raise some eyebrows. That said, if you try it over the peak postal season at Christmas you may get away with it becuase the post office is so busy. The alternative may be to buy the kit and all the running gear then declare a low-ish value (say 20-30%) and pay some tax rather than trying to escape paying any. Surely they're less likely to try and challenge if you say the kit is worth £100 when it's actually worth say £300+.

Except when customs hold the item and ask for the paypal and HK invoice printouts - which indeed they had asked for from me. When that happens accept it.
