Hi I have a ys 50 st which takes ages to start. Once started it runs fine. It just takes about 5 mins. Please help.

1st is it pressurizing up the tank ?
2nd have you looked at the carp seals ?Oxy4+, tgy servos, hw60a, spirit fbl on 6s 🤓

Hi pressure is good. I fitted new plug. Not checked seals. Its just weird how long I have to turn the motor over before it starts. The fuel is at the carb after a couple of turns. ...Comment

How old is the motor?
I had the same problem when I owned one - ended up changing the piston,ring and liner.Minicopter Diabolo - V Bar v5.3, Kontronik Kosmik 200 and Pyro 750-56 .

No lean runs. Its almost like the regulator is not letting the fuel through. Not really sure how the regulator worksComment

My 56 would be a bugger to start first thing.
Replaced the diaphragm and it was a lot better.

Sounds like diaphragm sticking try give the exhaust deflector a quick squeeze while cranking. Should fire straight up ;-)Comment
