Does anyone know where you can get the 6 flanged bearings that make up the tail slider mechanism on the 550/600 Align helis. They are quoted as being 2.5x7.1x2.6 but when I do that search I get nothing back.

Lol so I've been working from the size out of the manual but having just done the above search I now have a part number F682XZZ. Got a few hits now, mostly China bit working on it. Thanks all
I was too quick, the bearing F682XZZ is stated by align as being 2.5x7.1x2.6 in all their literature, whereas at the bearing stores the bearing F682XZZ is 2.5x6x2.6.
i was hoping I would not need to tear it all down but I need to measure it to be sure.
beware of some of the bearing sizes quoted in the align 600N manual... for example the smaller bottom mainshaft bearing is printed incorectly in the manual next to the drawing. When searching this quoted size bearing, you wont find it at rc bearings. check the same parts at align trex and a different size bearing is listed ! this is available through rc bearings ! (cant remember the exact sizes while typing this) frustrating until you realise the error !!!!
Hi Simon, here are the bearings in the tail slider mechanism I think this is the new tail for the 550 and 600s. tailbox.jpg
It seems Align have measured to the outside of the flange where as bearing companies measure to the bearing body and ignore the flange.. fzbearing.jpg
that's why I could not find them when I was looking for 2.5x7.1x2.6 as the bearing companies show it as 2.5x6.1x2.6.
Anyway ordered some from China, the price was wildly different anything from £5 each to £3 for 10 so we will see.
