Got a problem with a Hobbyking order.

I placed an order for a 6s pack and two 4s packs and paid for it, but ever since I did that the site says that is still "unpaid" and its been like that for over 24hrs, I've tried to contact their customer service thing, and have had nothing out of that, has this happened with anyone else?

I'm going to check with my bank tomorrow morning to see if the money has actually been taken, not sure what to do though, can I instruct them to stop any payments to them until this is sorted out, or worse take it twice or due to some error on their end take it but not actually send the goods thinking they have dispatched them.

Their customer service system really does suck bo!!ocks, there are no two ways about that, they need to have an actual phone number on there to contact so you can speak to someone, in the past it's been ok, but cheap prices is no excuse for bad customer service.

Well they've taken the money from my account (yesterday), and yet it is still listed as "unpaid", no contact back from their "customer service" dept at all.

Really not impressed now.

Have you tried the online customer service by means of the live chat? Ive used this in the past but it does take a while so be patient. They did however solve my issues just not as quick as i would have liked. My money basically was credited as points to the HK account. I ended up buying some other stuff because the original items were not in stock and it could have taken ages to get them (5000mah 6S Aspec packs).

Live chat has been down for a few days.

The bit where you pay for the goods says that it should change to "paid" within six hours of making the payment at the most, that was two days ago.

I had a similar situation (not as much money however) - I just emailed them with the PayPal details and they checked into it and it soon became paid and then got sent

I always found it was very delayed anyways so never pay attention to it. If the goods didnt turn up in a timely fashion then i would just be straight on the live chat. Shame its down because from what i hear your goosed when that happens until its at least back online anyways.
Ive just purchased some other brand of pack because the stock showed 10+ and i didnt want to take the chance and end up with cash stored as points again. Last time i attempted to buy Aspecs there was 10+ in stock and when i assumed they were secured i ended up in the position i mentioned before. So unless they have plenty stock ill not bother. Their loss as ive bought plenty in the past. 2 x 5000mah Aspec packs now cost £180 plus postage... You can grab 2 50C gensace packs for £192 plus postage. No brainer IMO and hence Hobbyking have just lost shy of 200 quid because of this. Im done with taking chances with them. Its a shame because what im seeing from the Aspecs they are a brilliant battery.

HK did sent me an email a few days ago apologising for the backlog they've got and stating they had everyone from the cleaners to the secretaries trying to cope with it... and not to sent multiple emails..just one clearly marked with the order number etc if there was a problem

Ordered a few bits on wednesday 16th,
received the shipped mail confirmation this morning,
I noticed they had a backlog a few days ago but still made the order since I am not rushing, the order status changed to paid within a an hour.

No Lipos on my order tough...
I would try and drop them an email, specially if you didn't receive the 1st no_reply@hobbyking.com mail confirmation.

That's because they are so popular they probably can't cope with the demand,which agree can be counterproductive.

All my batteries were supposedly in stock in the UK warehouse though and that should not have any bearing on the admin side of the e-commerce bit, which will probably be mostly automated, as you can imagine it's a bit worrying to have the money disappear from my account and the site still say that its "unpaid".

I could accept that the order goes through, they accept that it has been paid, and update the order information to reflect that, and I just wait for them to actually ship it, but to have taken the money and not acknowledge that it has been paid for is asking for trouble, and it's not how to do things.

I always use PayPal and recently had the same problem as you, heard didly squat from hobbyking however PayPal refunded my payment. Dont use hobbyking anymore i would rather pay the extra. Hope it gets sorted for you.

I use Hobbyking loads. But I'd only ever pay via paypal.

Had the same problem last week took 4 days before the order status was sorted via online support !
