hubsan invader not flying

Just for fin I got myself a hubsan invader and actually it is fun. So much so I purchased a load of spare batteries which arrived today.
I also has to replace the tale rotor blase as it had gone missing the last time I used it.

Well I charged all the batteries and replaced the blade and took it out for a fly around the garden.

Well for some reason it will not take off. It sounds as if the motor is running at full speed, from memory.
I have checked the two servos and all the links (fixed pitch) and all appears well but there is no lift.
If I power it full throttle and hold it up there is plenty of down draft but if a let it go it slowly lands again.

Don't understand this one, there is fill drive to the main rotor, no slipping on the shaft or anything like that.

I know this is not the usual heli we talk about hear but...
Any ideas?

Hi. I've got one of these. Did you fix it. I had the same problem when I put the tail rotor blade on back to front. Great fun little heli.
