Has anyone bought a PL8 from Revolectrix Singapore recently?

Just buy one from a UK dealer and pay the tax, is it really worth trying to avoid paying what £25 tax.

I haven't tried importing one into the UK.
But
I brought mine locally in china with zero support and it blew up after a few weeks. So disappointing. The shop I brought from didn't want to know about it. I contacted Revolectrix Directly and the guy I got in contact with was so helpful. He said if I got it back to him he would replace it. In the end the guy in the shop finally replaced it after about 2 months. The whole way through the Revoectrix guys were on my side just the freight and import problems stopping them replacing directly when they had no real direct liability to do so.

Sorry off the topic but big thumbs up for revolectrics. Love the charger and would highly recommended to anyone.

Like any electronic thingy especially a low volume item like our chargers at some point there will be duds. Best stick with someone that will support you when you get one.

Bought mine from align trex - yeah it is an expensive charger but its worth the money & I believe you can expect top support from UK dealers & revo themselves.

Alternatively, if you don't need 8S and are not bothered by being able to charge without the balance leads, buy a PL6
Great charger as well
