In Chappers defence. He's not a miserable twat....

He actually has a wealth of knowledge and is one of the first to help at the field. That can be vouched for by a good few on the site.

I suspect he's just trying to create a good bit of debate every now and again, but maybe put's the wrong foot forward every so often.

I don't mind losing members because I have to kick them off, but not because a member feels that the site cannot give him/her added value.

The fact that Chappers has apologised does in my mind, show's that he's has integrity and is not ashamed too admit when wrong.
    Cheers

      .
I have to agree with Stu. I think the problem is that irony is easier to spot when spoken , when it's written the reader can interpret it in many ways.

"Bibs" is out of order - there is no room on this forum for personal obuse and bad language.

        Hi Guys.
I have to agree with the fact that Chappers had made full amends for any misdeamours he may have made with posts to this site, and the resulting apology has elevated his status in my mind.
I have also enjoyed having bibs around, and cannot see what can have caused him to vent this latest outburst.
I can only hope that when the blood cools down bibs will return to this site, I know he is a sensible guy, and to have made an exit like that would fuel the scoffers opinion that we are indeed adults behaving like kids and still playing with toys.
Lets all get back to what this site was intended for, and if any wrongs are made, treat them in an adult manner.
        COME BACK BIBS.
        GOOD FLYING.
        Mo.

          I'm still here

What it is, is that chappers 'apology' is yet another p*ss take and that's what riles me. He'd be flamed on other sites for being a 'baiter' or 'troll' but thinks it's acceptable behaviour on here for some reason. A lot of people don't come back to this site because of his attitude and that of his cohort and that's a fact.

A new member comes on here, asks about the rex, I answer and he takes the mick. Does this encourage me and others to post, or does it do exactly the opposite, you decide.

Anyways, end of topic about this matter, this is a heli site. Anyone else got anything to add about the Rex?

                Hi Bibs.
Glad to see you are back on stream, I am sure this can only be good for you in learning the better tricks of flying model heli's.
I have in the past had to bite my own lip with some of the replies recieved from those lads up north, being one of an older generation (thankfully not as old as G-Dave)I know that they mean no harm, and it is only the typical bluntness of the breed.
If you have downloaded any of the flying exploits of Chappers, you will see they know what it is all about, if the man is a little caustic at times, I will happily wear this just to get the last word in answers to any problems I may encounter with my own flying, and now I know him better, I do know he is a very nice guy at heart.
Stick around Bibs, I am sure you will find things to be a lot smoother than you anticipated, one of these days I am going to have a shoot out with Chappers, and with the result of the time spent picking his brains, he is going to be in very big trouble.
                GOOD FLYING.
                Mo.

                    Hi Dave.
I take your point, but in my defence the likeness is uncanny.
                    GOOD FLYING.

                      Hello chaps

I am please to see that everyone has gotten that of their chest. In reply to Chappers I accept your apology it was after all the grown up thing to do, and maybe a small slice of advice from an old man. You are renowned for your wit, but think before you open your mouth because you have no Idea who your talking too or their character.

I saw a T-Rex for the first time today, at the club (MK Heli Club). Great little machine. Russ Deakin hovered it in the club house, very stable.
