Trex Review

Ok which one of you lucky chaps is going to do a mini review of the Trex.
There must be a few fellows like myself who are contemplating the purchase but need to know the nitty gritty before we part with hard earned gingly stuff.

I can only review it from a n00b perspective but can say that it's a dream to build and having seen it fly last night it looks pretty good in the air too. I got my kit from overseas and it's the v2 with Chinese instructions, however being fluent in chinese helped here a lot :P

Well recommended and a worthy addition to the fleet with cheap and plentiful spares and good performance from the stock kit and outstanding performance with the myriad of upgrades becoming available.

Hi Bibs
Just wondering how agile it is in stock format. How about gentle arobatics.
having read a lot of stuff on other boards about micro's that you need to spend lots just to get a comprable performance as say a stock rappy.

Do you by any chance do a translation service :lol:

I can't tell you from personal experience but from seeing enough video's of stock rex's performing excellent 3D from various sites including Align's I'd hazard a guess they are pretty sweet. As I said, mine's got about 3 seconds air time which was magnificent but it was a bit of an up and down kinda situation, nothing more yet.

i also have a rex thats not quite finished yet,but it was pretty easy to build ,even tho it was my first kit,i have seen them fly a few times and i gotta say that they fly well and are very stable in the air (from what ive seen). www.trextuning.com is a very good site to visit especially when you want to build it...radio gear tomorrow and its all done bar the setting up.. spares are cheap and plentiful,and there are lots of upgrade parts available soon
