  • Rudder servo issue please help!!!!!

Hello guys, I am desperately in need of some advice.

I just received my new rudder servo....and looks like my old servo was not messed up it was actually fine since both of them doing same sort of movement...now I wonder where am I doing it wrong.

when the servo is fitted to the Spartan quark gyro lead the there is a lot movement in the clockwise direction and little in the anti clockwise direction....its not centred.... any reason why its not being centred????

please some advice with be great help.

    thanks.

When you say no movement anticlockwise, is that with the servo on the bench or in the heli and connected to the tail?

It sounds like the endpoints have not been set (if you're moving the stick and it is definitely moving more in one direction than the other). The endpoints are a separate issue to whether it is centred or not because on the Quark the travel is adjustable in each direction.

Probably worth checking the monitor screen on the transmitter too, and make sure it's not a problem with the TX.

no did not calibrate it...since the servo is not centred and travelling in one direction too much,...I thought you set servo 1st and then calibrate.

can anyone please give me a set of instruction on how to make the servo travel equal direction in both sides from the travel adjust setting on the dx6i.
