Hi All,
Sorry, being a bit thick today, I've searched for the answer to my question but it never seems to have never been asked. Everybody else must have worked it out for themselves
Anyway, here goes...
Firstly, headspeed. I'm thinking about 2100 on my K3D, does that sound about right? I've never tached the head, always set it up "by ear"!
Next, setting it to engage on my FF9. These are my thoughts: Assign a spare channel to my idle up switch. In "normal" mode set the end point to "0". This will mean the govenor will not engage (I think!). Then set the end point for the two idle up positions to whatever it needs to be be to give me the correct RPM. I'm assuming that this will mean the Revlock will engage when I flick to idle up. I'm not too sure that this is what I want though because I will have to be very careful when hitting the switch because the headspeed will jump dramatically, is this normal? At the moment my throttle / pitch curves are the same above mid stick in normal and idle up meaning little or no jump when I switch between the two.... Obviously I could be completely wrong with how I am thinking it should engaged!
(I realise I can use the "Governor" function on the FF9 which I presume will have the same affect as the above!)
And finally, the instructions mention piro correction and mixing. This bit's got me completely stumped! I understand the change of head speed when performing a piro but have no idea how to "mix the rudder channel of you transmitter to the govenor control channel". Can somebody help me here!
And that's it. Clearly I don't have a clue!!
Cheers,
Simon
