    Flying BBC Micros ...

    Showing my age now ... years ago I used to have Acorn (BBC) Micros. Acorn went bust, but one bit of the company survived - Advanced Risc Machines (ARM).

    ARM processors now power many devices including most mobile phones (including the iPhone), and now, it seems .... Blade Nano-QX's!

    Glad to see a small British firm from Cambridge is still taking over the world!

      ARM used to be Acorn RISC Machine before the name was changed.

      In my early days, I had a Acorn Electron, then a Archimedes.

        I've still got my Archimedes! Not sure if it would power up now though, but can't bring myself to get rid of it ...

            Hmmm Funny thing about being at the back of a cue! its not so bad...you see when God was handing out Penai ( I just made that word up, sounded better than penis's )I was last in the the cue so when it was my turn to get one there where none left......except the pole they where hanging on! so Im happy! hahaha
