It was me that told him to land because Timo had a pre arranged demo slot.

Next time it should allow other pilots to finish their flights before starting the demo maybe, It's not fair to push them out of the way for someone else to fly.

Don't be intimidated, just get out there and fly, I can't fly for shit but after a few fly ins I thought feck it and just get out there with some xtreme tail in hardcore hovering. Even got a round of applause from the **** taking set off midland barstewards.

This is standard practice at flyins and comps, unfortunately Kev didn't know this. Stuart offered a personal apology after I was told to leave the flight line. Not an issue as my 10 minute timer had just gone off on my G4

I flew in front of everyone this weekend and was scared to death and shaking but then everyone i spoke to was the same so that
helped ease the nerves abit.
Also helped having somebody beside you.
Heligray nearly had to pick the pieces up from a near crash. LOL
Loved the weekend thou.

Chaps was it just me or was the standard of flying at rcha this year just immense?

It seemed to me that you can all smack 3d and I felt a touch too overwhelmed and intimidated to take my Heli out. I thought 'yeah I can fly' right up until the first Heli took off lol

I only saw one chap hovering and flying circuits after waiting ages to pluck up the courage to put his nitro up and he was asked to stop flying after a minute to let timo fly

Made me realise I still have a long way to go

mate, as Andy says ... I dont fly great but I can get the heli in the air, enjoy the time and entertain the people - more due to the unexpected than the expected but anyway I enjoy it and I even take the prime flightline spot and have Duncan wait for me to finish ... all of them started off the same way so I'll bet they'll understand ... if not, do it anyway

What you will find is I called several times for the pilots to finish their flights and others to leave the flightline clear. He took no notice of this and still started to fly AFTER I closed the flightline. HENCE I chucked him off.

I had a gut full at the weekend with Demo pilots ignoring requests to come and do their demos, and others to leave the flight line because pre arranged demos were due to start!! I was doing what I was there to do. You all had a copy of the timetable. If you cant listen to instruction, dont complain to me when I boot you off the flightline.

Align UK and Skyline didnt even turn up for their demos at all! So I gave theirs to Matty Lodge!

Hold on, I thought you were just doing the PA, not controlling the whole event LOL. You have no right to chuck people off the flight line and have no right to tell people they can or can't fly. Your job was to control the sound system for the weekend and to commentate the event.

EDIT: Just so you know, I'm not having a go, just stating my opinion on this. But you can't throw people off the flightline even if they are flying when they shouldn't be. That should be Stuart/Lee's job.

Dont try and get to big for your boots kev, you were just there to do the PA, your system was not up to the job, never heard a single word all weekend you said you had the speakers facing the wrong way for the first 3 days, only if and its a big IF Stuart or Lee told you to stop someone flying you should otherwise it has nothing to do with you.
