at the lhc fly-in/scale comp the weekend thats just gone the newest machine i flew was a young 13 years old
the scale heli i flew in the comp i have no idea how old it is as i've own it 14 years and it was far from new then

its not about how new the model is its about enjoying the flight

Goblin 500s come up a lot too, funny how models trend like this, I can't imagine people flog the latest logos because they fly crap

The new TT E700 is dirt cheap! But the canopy design is mega ugly, IMO of course

gav matey... the 600n is still in and allways will be ! ....... even if its in, everything you buy is out as you sell it within a month of getting it everytime anyway !

Gav stick with it mate.
Spent some time to get it how you like it, hell even try another FBL unit maybe and see if you can make it fly as it should!!

They are really nice when they have been dialed in good. I love my 550 sx!

the old shuttle, gph346,mk1 sceadu,sdx50and freya isn't a problem with spares
the turbulence is ok on crash parts but anything that is dedicated to the turbulence and no other hirobo models is a back order in the uk, in stock in germany and rc japan
the pre-skyfox vario bell 47 no problems and the later vario stuff there are no problems
graupner is a funny one as the spares are drying up but the vario parts fit them

anything thunder tiger at the moment is a problem and we don't yet know if ripmax will support the older tt models with parts, some parts are coming through but not all of them, only time will tell


i've been looking at the tsa models but they look very trexish so you may as well go with the model that every shop has parts for

Same here, for the Beam I had to get half the bits from FL and the other half from the USA (I think now FL have everything back in stock). The Robbes I already accumulated lots of spares for otherwise they could potentially be a problem, but only if I crash because the Robbe stuff does last.
