Hi there thanks for the replies, sadly i do not currently have a car thats why i am limited to portsmouth ( Joys of being a uni masters student ) i am located in southsea area and currently just hoping to hover have flown a few 450's but this set up on the 500 is just a little confusing for me, want to make sure its perfect, be a shame to risk such a nice heli tbh

Just follow the freddy does flying video on you tube , get your mechanical setup 100% spot on , swash level , blade balanced and blade tracking all spot on , then the 3gX set should be a breeze.

Hi west wot, send me a PM with your number and we can arrange for me to pick you up and take you to Fareham where we fly on wednesday and thursday evenings. It's indoors, so brilliant for setting up and loads of us there to help you out. Google Fareham models, and you'll see where it is. I'm in Horndean, so could detour to southsea, easy enough!

                Cheers,
                Andy

Hi Rich, I forgot to add to the PM, BMFA all good, nothing else required really. Tim charges 3 quid for a nights flying(6 til 10ish) to cover electric etc, so won't break the bank.

                    Cheers,
                    Andy
