Would like to make a public thanks to Swale Smith for being so honest and kind over a motor I bought from him this last week.
I bought a used motor from Swale, paid via PayPal 5 minutes after the deal was done and true to his word he sent it next day special delivery.
It came in its makers box totally unmarked as new but was bought as a used motor which reflected in the price.
I fitted the motor after double checking everything went for the maiden flight.
Not three seconds into spooling up the motor it was pluming smoke out from the windings when I powered it up.
I obviously unplugged the battery terminals quick as possible and went back home to remove and check the burnt out motor.
In no way was Swale or myself to know this was going to happen but it did.
Got in touch with Swale for no other reason but to tell him what had happened, Lets face it when buying used goods they are bought as seen and hold no warranty so it was my loss not his.
To my astonishment Swale offered and duly did replace the motor for another one of the same value and I posted the knackered motor back to him.
I must add I offered some extra funds to compensate him because really he had no need at all but what a guy.
Full marks to you my friend, Top geezer and added to my "Top Guy award" list.
Swale thank you very much.

I have posted this in the good sellers guide but felt it was worth a look in the general forum too.
Honest good guy's deserve the credit they get.
Stuart remove this if I have contradicted the rules please.
