Thinking out loud, it would be awesome to have a fully automated drone system country wide. Landing pads on buidlings to charge so drones can land and recharge and receive local drops. A drone lands in an off duty state, charges then becomes on duty. A website where people log jobs to have things delivered assigns it to a local on duty local drone, which then picks up the item from a depot. It flies to the local depot (would have to be local to the street or estate) and delivers it. Maybe some sort of locker system?

I can 100% see drones being used for delivery within 50 years.

There is some great chemistry between those presenters, wow. The way he smacks his colleagues cut out head about at the end is priceless! lol

I can see drones filling the sky in the next 10 years and becoming a complete nuisance, we'll probably end up with a drone for every person in the country cos the governments surveillance of your internet access, phone conversations and travel just isn't good enough to guard us against all the terrorists out there just waiting to pounce the moment we let our guards down and allow people to have civil liberties. I know I'll feel much safer once I know that guy with the turban down the road is being monitored 24/7.
