Most ESCs will reset to the soft start after X seconds with no in put. My YGE does it after an auto that lasts more than 5 sec or so!

Sorry to hear about your incident with the GoPro.
I think this is not only a heads-up for GoPro'ers (like me - thanks
) but also for everyone that is used to taking their mobile phone to the flightline. They can cause dropouts and interference. I always leave my mobile in the car now just in case.

The problem here is that you have a 2.4GHz transmitter massively closer to the heli Rx than the Tx is - which is asking for trouble...Yes, it's th@ tw@ Scallyb@...Comment

Ok, so I am now psyching myself up to try again this weekend without the wifi enabled. I quite like the movie from the heli's perspective, and anyway I can crop the bits I dont want to see during post processing.
I dont worry about my smartphone in my pocket, but i do think that the close proximity of another transmitter to the satellites and ESC was probably an accident waiting to happen to me .......Comment
