How long do you get flight on your opti lipo packs 5000 6S 30c on trex 700 dfc ???
Im getting around 3 mins then there down to around 20% life left is that about right or are you getting more time ???

Mainly fly idle up head speed 2300 & flying large ariel displays / mild 3d & fast

2300 seems high for a 700 DFC, most people I know run either 2150 or 2200. They get like 3:30 flight times I think.

Isn't 2300 high for a 700 ? I was running 2050 on my old rave and was plenty. Can't say I'm surprised you are draining them but I would have thought 5 mins on 12s

I couldn't really comment as i don't fly a true 700 but I know most guys tend to run around the 2000-2150rpm mark on 700 helis. Head speed really saps power, you will definitely get longer flights if you dropped the head speed but this is subjective to whether you still like the way it flies at lower speeds. I know 2300 would be excessive for me.

I use the same packs in my goblins 2050 on the head 5 mins with mild 3d tick tocks etc. good 20% left . I had them in a 700 and got similar times the goblin is mental at 2300 I don't see why you would want it that high put some lighter blades on it if you want more response. 2050 I easily get 6min mines a V2 with Dfc head tho, Dzabo gets 5min on his Dfc at 2050 we're not stick bangers tho lol

2300RPm is way too high, Think I'm running 2150ish on my 700 and get about 3:50.

all stock, normal 1962, iu1 2051, iu2 2150 if I remember correctly ... I can squeeze 6:30 out of a pack with gently flying with some loops, flips and stuff

When you watch the likes of Steve Gerrard and other top pilots flying at around 2100 the question remains "Why"

Lower your headspeed and reduce your pitch a little and try again.

Mental. I run 2200 on my Rush and get 5:30. No real 3D, but big air, tic tocs, bad collective management etc
