  • Rounded bolt in a terrible spot.

This is solid and it's well rounded.
I do not want any damage to the servo. Do I just ignore it and continue the build or does anyone have an idea?
    I'm so ****aed.

That's an m2 thread. Heads tiny and shallow. I don't think you get easy outs that size?

Very tiny drill, make sure you drill it dead centre. Not too far in.
The easy out tool should grab it enough to unscrew it

You should be able to drill the centre of the cap head with say a 1.5mm drill, nice and easy and then you might manage a 2mm once you've got a start. The caphead will be hard where allen key fits. Actually looking at it you will struggle to get a drill in there, good luck

Well I'm actually astonished to say my easy out has done the job. It looked massive but it has done it. Thanks fella

Guys I'm building a new 450 dfc and have a stainless upgrade set. Question is do I use blue or red threadlock?
              Quick answers appreciated.

Blue if you want to take them off again!

Don't use red! Otherwise you will be using that easy out a lot more lol.

The only place you EVER use red threadlock on a Heli is on a raptor fan hub. Get a bottle of loctite 243 thread locker, the best stuff you can use on a Heli.

Yeah i only use loctite 243
Never use red as you'll never get a screw out again unless its a really large one u can put force on.

In theory this should be an easy fix if you have a dremel with a cutting disk, cut a slot in the head of the bolt then use a flat screwdriver to loosen the bolt take care of that cable though you will have to pull back.
                        Good luck.…
