  • undoing stuck servo bolts.....

Being a good boy I put a dab of threadloc (really just a dab) on each of the three align 610 servo bolts when I put the plastic horns on the 7HV...

Now what I hadnt factored in is that they are align bolts, so any attempt to remove them strips the hex drive on the top...

    So...

Any idea how to get them out?...

The correct size screwdriver, or some heat from a soldering iron may help. Worse/last case is slot it with a dremel

First one is off with screwdriver (just)

Second one by cutting the horn off, and then getting pliers carefully onto the edge of the bolt....

just one left, and its difficult to get to......

This 7HV seems to be taking me forever to get finished off....

Soldering iron usually works for me.

If the hole is worn then a torx wrench of about the right size can sometimes give a little more grip.
