    OMG Just found out my Spektrum DX7SE wont work with Phoenix :(

    So I'm off on Holiday for 3 weeks on Monday, and tonight I've found out that it doesn't work with phoenix through the trainer (or not) plug in the back .

    So what do I do, I'm a futaba guy and only have the Spekbum from a deal when I bought the 700e. I have a Simstick Pro, so if I just buy a satellite receiver, i.e one of these: , can I use it? I don't need a full on receiver? Sorry never used Spektrum before. How do I bind the satellite to the tx?

    you need a full receiver. Get an Orange DSM2 one, as you dont need a mega receiver for a simulator

      My DX7 works OK on the USB lead. Are you sure? Maybe DX7SE is different, sorry, don't know about that.

        You can use a sat or an R6203SB then you can fly futaba... plug the sat in ... push the button on the simstick then hold the button in on the tx and turn it on... it will bind... or just use a 6203sb and plug an play

                Hi, so a sat plugged in is ok? They're pretty cheap. Don't want to take my 14sg that's why I got a cheapo spekbum.

                Guess my concern is what will Airport security think of a satellite receiver? Anyone taken one abroad? I assume I take it hand luggage?

                  I'm sure they'll be happier with the rx in the box than wondering which suitcase you put it in.....
                  (I had no problems with taking my radio gear. It was the lipos I had arguments over)

                      Hi, thanks but no time. Fly out on Monday. Managed to get a satellite, got it all working after a while . BTW, is there a way to disable the horrid clicking noise on a DX7?
