Help with Pitch

Hi guys i am setting up my 500 DFC

i have the pitch atm 14+ 12- how can i reduce this on the TX to get about 12+ and 4- in normal mode as i am only learning

also on the cyclics i am getting -6.4 one side but on the other i am getting 7.7, i need + - 8 how can i achieve this, by increasing the throws, or using a larger servo horn ?

the tx is a futaba 8fg super

Change the pitch curve for normal mode to something like 40,45,50,70,90

Sounds like your swash isn't level or your servos aren't 90'ed. Are you using a 3GX FBL unit ?

Yes i am using the 3GX unit, i have just leveled the swash and tried to 90 the servos as best as i could

also thank you for your advice on the pitch curve to achieve what is needed i have a curve of :

You was correct the swash was a little off level, that has been sorted and am now getting 7.1 each side, however this is lower than the 8 align recommends, is this a massive issue ?

re: the pitch curve - don't worry too much about exact angles. So long as your limits are set right in the 3GX - just go with a curve that feels comfortable in the TX. Just don't cut out all negative (ie. keep some below 50%) you do need some negative at times to bring the heli down if it gets too high!
