Just got back from the best weekend of the year so far!!

What a weekend of laughs and great flying!!

Alex Hawtin, Ben Britton and Connor Sloan were killing it all weekend and showed why they are some of the best pilots in the country!!!

Sam Smith put on an awesome show at night with his 6HV and showed his quality and that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the very near future!

Managed a 4th place finish in the Pylon Racing so I am chuffed and finally got 600 3D'ing thanks to set up help from Ben and support from all the lads who convinced me just to go for it !

Got myself a nice new set of Edge 603's for the 600 in the raffle as well ;D

Was a pleasure to finally meet Dave (WaveyDavey) and few others from the forum and a few new mates who I am looking forward to meeting at later events

Big Thanks to the MK team for putting a great event and one that I shall remember for a very very long time!

Before I finish I would just like to say hat off to Alex, after a really bad crash on Saturday that would of caused me to be a shakey wreck for the rest off the weekend and more, Alex showed the courage to get straight back out there and show everyone that he is pure class and his progress in such a short amount of time is ridiculous!

The cake me, Sam and Ben brought him says it all...

John, you're a top fella, an absolute pleasure. My highlight is the ever so eggable SamS, a nightflight with car headlights ala Timo Curlis stylie. Tail slide was called by yours truly and a mediocre height was achieved, furhter calls of higher and Sam couldn't resist to the demise of his model. Not too much damage but a great sport, a future star. Fair play chaps, we look forward to seeing you all again next year

To Alex , what happened to you has happened in a similar way to most of us !
Just be sure to learn from it ( I am sure you have) and pass on the heli gospel of safe and fun flying , it doesn't matter who you are or how good we are all just one tail touch or plastic link failure away from disaster.......

we can only minimise the risks and enjoy what we do.

to everyone else this is my advise and experiences , I am no fan of the fun police , but sometimes you just have to preach a little ;-)
