walkera 68b?? serious answers only please!!

are the walkeras really that bad if set up correctly?? the reason im asking is that i can get hold of one with all aluminium head,tail box etc etc,futaba gy ??? gyro,brand new hitec servos fully set up and flyable! really tempted as i cant see why it cant be as good as a trex if set up nice!

the 68b is not that bad mate its the top of the range from walkera

you get what you pay for mate,,

if its secound hand and has all been upgraded into something that has a reasonable standard of quality then u might get on with it ok,,,,

its your choice, you know the risk/reputation of them but as you say this one seems to be upgraded and you might have luck with it

My personal opinion and i aint takin the **** mate... i wouldnt bother at all. Toms right, you get what you pay for. I think people are mad if they put descent gear into a helicopter like that. The way i see it, if your prepared to put good gear and money into a helicopter like that then why dont they spend the little extra on the airframe itself. After all it is the thing thats flying all that good gear. By the time you bling something up like that the money you've paid out then you could have had a trex se or something similar.
