Just got back from the field. Myself, RcRotarymadness (matt), Paul W, both off here and Rob a guy im teaching to fly have just had an excellent couple of hours!!

I cant get over how much power Matts 550 has!! I dont think the head bogged once and he was giving it some and its really fast too!!

Biggest surprised tho was young Rob. Hes got a Nexus 30 ive setup for him, it actually flies really nice considering its only got cheap servos except the tail. His hovering just suddenly went to another level!! He's flown that heli 4 times, and he was hovering really well! to the point youd think he'd been at it 3 months!!

Really made up for him!

My flying is getting more adventurous, getting some high altitude pie dishes going on! Ill start to bring them to a decent level soon. My confidence is growing with every flight!
Like I say things are looking up!!

Yeah its been a great evening - didn't expect it tbh as the weather outlook said it wasn't going to be too good but lovely calm evening and we all had abit of a laugh lol.

haha cheers Kev - I'm chuffed to bits with this 550 - fantastic heli, first flight since upping the headspeed and loving it - what excites me more though is it has still got more in reserve to give! Batteries/motor/esc are only coming back down lukewarm at the moment.. setup is good =P

And talking to rob its clear he's getting the gist of it pretty rapidly and hes enthusiastic about it - his hovering is excellent for only the 4th flight in.. could be the next Szabo your training up lol.

& i noticed you're flying has come along since I last saw you, very nice inverted hover, very smooth.. and your usual tick tocks ;-)
