Looking for a decent PSU?

I've decided to get a new PL8 charger, my current charging setups less than ideal.
where are you guys getting you psu's from? Obviously there's eBay but I've brought that much second rate electrical stuff off there it's beyond a joke.
Any pointers in the right direction will be appreciated.

Coolice on here is doing some nice ones with custom vinyls. Next PSU upgrade I will be grabbing one of these.

I think a lot of us are using server PSU's of one sort or another. Coolice has been making some compact units, send him a PM and see what he has on offer. I've got 2 Dell 6650's giving 24V and 1800W available

I was going to suggest a coolice PSU as well. I'll be getting one myself in the near future when I can afford it to get one along with a PL6 or similar.

you need two of these 321632-001 HP ProLiant DL380 G4 DL385 G1 575W Hot-Plug Power Supply Unit ESP135 | eBay and two nylon M3 screws and nylon washers... then you will be able to make it yourself when you get a little stuck the info for a lot of different supplies can be found here How to convert Server Power Supplies - RC Groups that should get you going......

Get Coolice to make you one . Saves all the hassle and you get a great PSU that'll cope with anything.

As a side note, you can buy a ready made psu from Ian (coolice), Mike (tsangbou) or maybe Sacko if hes still doing them. Or if you're good at diy you can make your own also.

I have a twin DPS600PB (HP ESP135) server PSUs wired in series with a PL8 and its ideal.. good enough for all your usual electric needs!

PowerLab is a good charger too.

Certainly seems these twined up servers are the way forward! more than enough head room for any future needs i may have that's for sure.
Once I've shifted all my surplus parts and nitro gear I'll have funds to invest into my charge station can't wait.
Taking both nitro and electrics to the fields frankly become a chore
