How do you carry your 700 sized battery packs?

I use one of those battery flight boxes you used to get with a trex 450.

I have that but it can only take 2 batteries (2 pairs in trays)

The maplin rugged case for me to.

Pick and pluck foam for easy sizing.

I just put them in the back of the van no special boxes or owt

Are you guys worried about having so many lipos in one box. what if one 5000 6s goes off with 10 or 12 of his mates in the same box. If they all got triggered off might be a tad exciting.

Having said that I haven't found or got around to finding a decent way so stick them in my back pack..

Looks a good solid box. How much does it weigh when filled with your LiPo's?

honestly cant tell, as its about 600km away .. roughly 1.6kg per stick + the box - so thats 5sticks, 2x2 (2 sticks) + some more - maybe 10 or 12kgs?!

I made a rucksack that carries 12x 6s packs, some 3s and 2s ones, my tx, tools, drink and knee pads etc. Used a fishing rucksack, a dj CD case, some closed cell foam. I think I put some pictures of it on the site somewhere.

It's got heating in too for the winter months.

Only criticism I have is that it's all eggs in one basket, but the lipos seem stable if well protected so im happy with the setup

Normally carry them in my hands.

Aluminium Case sets from Maplins. Four for £29.99 at times I use the largest for my charging gear, the second size for my 6s 5000mah and the next size for 6s 3000/3300mah and the smallest for the 3s 2200mah.

Just in a heavy duty snap on tool bag with a shoulder strap as its bloody heavy with 12 7s packs and 8 6s packs but the shoulder strap really helps.

I've got a large ally case from maplins, got 6 x 5000 6S packs for my 550 in it. Could easily fit another 6 in it as well but not sure I'd want to carry it far lol. At the moment its got those 6, 4 x 2200's for the 450 and my now spare experion charger as a field charger if I need it.

BTW, I've searched and searched but does anyone make protective caps to go over the EC5 plugs on the batteries?

I got the case from maplins they are 5000 6s packs on loading trays. Very sturdy and not too expensive.

Hi Thanks, they were made on a label printer by printing lots of zeros , Yes I fill a circle in after each flight.
