  • How do you carry your 700 sized battery packs?

As above, how do you guys carry your 12s battery packs?
Do you use just supermarket plastic bags or you guys have a purpose built bags/cases for them?

    I'm looking for ideas.

Mine fit perfectly in a 50 cal ammo box. They are 2x 6S 3300s though, on a align 600 battery slide.

When I say perfectly, as in their is about 3mm spare.

I can get 6 pairs in one box.

when I did have a 12s then i used an old shoe-bag... tesco carrier bags can't take the weight of a dozen 5000ma packs for long before they split...well, not unless you buy one of those reusable eco-whatsit bags and they're far too expensive...

Aluminium Case sets from Maplins. Four for £29.99 at times I use the largest for my charging gear, the second size for my 6s 5000mah and the next size for 6s 3000/3300mah and the smallest for the 3s 2200mah.
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

I use this Ex-NATO Ammo/Grenade Box, Lockable and Waterproof | eBay - the screwable handle latches allow pressure to leave the box and keep the cover in place ...

so rather than using it "waterproof" you allow pressure not to build up, I also used some case foam to limit the possibility for any shorts and secured it with spray adhesive

there is still space for more, so I got 3 sticks on the bottom, then 2 on top and in the end bit, I got 2x2 5000mah, side by side, plus a few more smaller ones.

Looks a good solid box. How much does it weigh when filled with your LiPo's?

I like Jasons case, but I use an old aluminium camera case, I did try cutting out sections from foam, but with so many different size cells I gave up and I just stack em all together.
                        All the best

Thanks for the tips... My packs are already in their trays so need something long that can accommodate the packs in their loading trays. (Can't take batteries out of trays as they've been balanced on the heli - took me hours to balance them!)
