    wow, that is spanked, I thought I broke mine good a few months back, but that is a different level. Unlucky mate.

        I missed it I was just putting my stuff away...but I heard it go in and it was a proper thud...then I saw him carrying the heli in one hand and the head with blades attached in the other and thought whats happened there.....LOL...good sport though he had a good laugh about it.....

                  Nothing too do with the DFC...he flipped it into the hard wind and it came back like a Rocket...and the Rocket wasn't fast enough to save it...I thought he had got away with the blades but on closer examination they were smashed too bits...and the canopy mounts had lanced new holes for themselves as well...and the battery was bent in half....

                            What I mean is if you're under the impression all crashes cost this much you'd never buy a 550
