Can you fly rc helis with only one arm?

      Actually, back in the day when I was teaching noobies to fly planks on Mode 2, I used to put the Tx on the floor and fly with my right foot. I don't think I will try it with an Heli though.
      Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
      Now too many Helis to mention?

        iv no experience with flying planks but i think its so easy you can fly them blind or blindfolded or with no arms and legs

          there is a guy on the scale heli forum that not just flies heli's
          he also builds some very nice scale heli's with one hand

            We had a member join our club a couple of years ago who has had a stroke and it has left him completely paralysed down his right side. We fashioned a transmitter tray to fit to his wheelchair and, with the help of Richie Clark who donated a sim stick tried to get him to learn to fly using only his left hand. Although he did improve and could just about hover on the Sim, alas we never did get him down the field to try it out for real on his Trex 600. He has since left the club and taken more of an interest in model boats.
            It is a tough challenge indeed.
