  • Can you fly rc helis with only one arm?

I was just thinking how happy I am with both of my arms KNOCK ON WOOD

are there pilots with 1 arm flying these helicopters?
are there already transmitters and software invented for doing this?

You think of some things. Interesting question though. I should be interested to see an answer.

I think Curtis youngblood will give you that answer, i beleave all his movements are on right side, don't know about switches.

Curtis Youngbloods transmitter has the roll elevator and rudder all on one stick, but throttle would require another hand as IIRC it's on a slider on the back of the controller.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

what about this: 2 foot pedals

1 pedal for throttle/pitch and 1 pedal for rudder

on this pedal on the image it seems there already is a 5 pin connector for futaba and the switch is to reverse the pedal output

I seem to remember some time in the past a man flying in a converted wheel chair with certain controls used with the foot and the transmitter used in one hand. Then again, I am getting on a bit and it might just be senile memories/dreams?
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

There was a guy over wycombe way flying where bob j was flying a few years back. he had one able hand and had moved the left stick to the back right side of the transmitter! (one stick on the front one on the back) using a thumb on the front and fingers on the rear stick!

Needless to say i was well impressed!
