  • dx8 lipo battery question.

this may be a dumb question.
    i just bought a dx8 turnigy 4000mah lipo.
does this charge from inside the dx8 via the standard charger or do i need to take it out to charge each time?
    thanks in advance

Charges inside just change the battery to Lipo in the DX8 menu.

What voltage do you guys run the pack down to before charging again?

That's a little opaque to interpret. I guess that means you recharge your DX8 LiPo when it reaches around 6.4V (default alarm voltage)? My DX8 terminates charging at 8.2V, according to the DX8. I'm unsure if that's some kind of calibration error with the DX8/charging circuit, or it's designed to terminate at 8.2V, I've never tested the pack voltage externally.
