Need opinion on what TX Case to get

All,

I do quite a bit of travel with my work and want to take my tx (DX8) with me so at least I can plan on the sim or take my mCPx. I want something that I can stuff in my laptop bag. So not too heavy or bulky but can protect the tx from some heavy handed person pushing there bag through mine in the overhead luggage bins on a flight. I see a few on Fast Lads / Midland but have not clue from the descriptions. Any ideas?

I don't think even my 17in laptop carrybag would have room to take a tx. Test with some bubblewrap first

My laptop bag is quite large as it is a large camelback. So I can fit a metal tx case I have but then have little room for anything else. I was looking at moulded ones like this:

but there are a few similar ones.

The DX8 fits the venom one perfect, and I think Robgt has been travelling with his tx in one. When you are a big girl you can usually get away with a little makeup bag as extra carry on.

Ordered the Venom case from Midlands and it arrived today to the office. Great case. The DX8 fits perfectly and it seems to be sturdy and light enough to be put in my backpack. The radio gets protected very well and I have much more confidence that it will survive a plane journey. It did survive my 2 years olds attention tonight.. so first test survived and plane journey next week.
