  • Zone wow !!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to work until midnight of 5 days solid to get to zone , but I am so glad I did ,.....
What a top site easilly capable of hosting the Masters and truly beautiful countryside.

Did the new format work as in no sets ????? Hell yes ! excitment from day one , loud music , heli's maxed out , crashes, blade stops inc a crash. even the judges wern't excempt from the action.

In a few words ,..... Awsome , Amazing, Adictive, 3 A's then not bad for the first Zone.
Definatly one to book for next year.
I will mention some of the pilots and add pics later but I am at work

    Laterzzzzzzz
    Rach

Awsome pis by "Pulsar" plenty more to come

Nice to meet you for the first time Rachel, my great pleasure.
Glad Dave is nearly finished, enjoy your flying.

Yes, Zone was terrific, hardly saw any of the plank flying line, but nothing missed there having seen the standard of Zone heli flying.

Without doubt The Zone has broken the mould with an innovative new format option for competitions. So gutted I could not make it but wont miss next years for sure. I had Pete on facebook last night and was so much on a high from the event.

Well done to everyone who took part, who went and especially the three amigos for putting all the time and effort into bringing an international event back to the UK.
            Cheers

Highlights for me were a) Henseliet demo - wow, big, very powerful bird, travelling at insane speeds and so quiet, apart from the blade barks - awesome.
                      b) The guy (sorry I was so stunned, I forgot your name) that did a fab routine and then sent it way out, around some huge trees, threading it through a small gap in between another pair, to bring it home, inverted? What a star.
                      c) Heli Harry - I wish I had started earlier. Nice flying son.

                      Great weekend, Marty

That guy was Richard Middleton, was an awesome flight and only his second competition.
