Zone - Wicked !!!!!!

This is one of the best events I've been to in a long time. Kind of had the 3D Masters feeling about it, yet back on home land soil :-)

Congrates has to go to the event organizers. You did us proud and put the UK back on the world sence :-)

So many flights to talk about and not enough time to type. Got to mention the top three though.

Stefan flew the best I've seen him fly. Traveling, low 4 point tic tok's at 4 foot across the flightline did it for me. :-)
Sebastian Duus was simply awesome. Flying his logo 600, he made that thing look effortles to fly yet dam exciting :-) the crowd loved ya dude!!
Finally Duncan flew wicked all weekend but in the finals was being chased by Sebastian, and finally saw him push to win the event. The fist up at the crowd after the flight showed this. :-)

Daniel Jetchin demoed the best I've seen him fly whilst being with Avant. He made that model 'sing' and was dead impressive to watch.

What a weekend, can't wait till 2012

I second all the above, it was a wicked weekend. Looking forward to the next, all pilots flew awesome. Mr moons was a close call, but no 1 hurt, well except the camera mans underwear. Sorry James. Lol. Thanks to the organisers for a great event. And nice to meet some folks of here to boot.

Hope you got some pics Pete, if the atmosphere was anything like the good old days of the 3d masters in the uk it would have been as matty says 'wicked!!., a massive big well done to the smith brothers and craig for all the time effort putting this together.

Got agree with Matt it was amazing weekend, and is by far the best event on the uk calender, also great flying, great company with really good mates (and there wifes) and a great atmosphere to the whole weekend.
Also its nice to see international pilots competing again in the uk, and boy is that tdr fast, seriously fast.

Even a video couldnt give that thing any justace, you had to be there for yourself to understand the speed it was going, also helps being flown by one of the great pilots.

Really enjoyed today at the Zone. As said the TDR was incredible! The first one I have seen in person, and was surprised to see it was a BeastX on board, and scorpion power.

Congrats to Craig and the Smith bro's for their hard work.

It was great to meet again with so many faces from this forum, and just a quick well done to Squeaky Pete, I thought your flight after the lunchtime demo slot was awesome mate!

Congrats to Duncan O, I did not see the final flights as I had the family with me, and my little girl wanted to go on the fair ground rides etc., and I wanted to see some turbine action.

Roll on next year, I love the Western event.
