I would recommend staying onsite over the weekend as the evening is great fun at weston

"Make a weekend of it and camp in the Park: £45 in advance and £50 on the day.
This covers up to three occupants in the vehicle for the weekend. Additional occupants will be charged at £10 per head. There is no extra charge for children and this price includes admission to the park and the show for the weekend."

We have been at weston park since last friday planning out the location ready for the event.
A few of the organisers are already staying there and helping on the main flight line also,cutting grass/rolling the field and generally helping out .

We will be keeping you guys upto date on whats happening at the location as the days pass

I may have missed it, but what time do we need to arrive, will it be obvious where to go (given the size of the event)?

Hi Paul
The competition/event will start about 10 am on both days but pilots will need to book in so please come early about 9am if possible.
Weston park is on the a5 and has a banner on the entrance(internaional model airshow).please use this gate entrance,there other entrance is to the Granary please( ingnore this gate. )
Once you enter WESTON PARK you will see a ticket house/box and you will be asked for your pass or name etc after this the air cadets will guide you to our site which is on your right side of the long track.signed HELICOPTER EVENT / ZONE.
i will try to post a map of the entrance later today

Hi
Yes the camping for ZONE and the aircraft camping backs on to each other.
so yes there is camping at zone onsite.and toilet/showers
beer tents was being put together earlier today.huge tent.
pilots and general campers are turning up already too
