the club im with are planning a trip upto this show.
it will be my first proper model show. really looking forward to it and hopefully meeting a few people from this forum.

I shall be flying in to Weston Park (as I have don for the previous 3 years) in 'Big Plank', and with a bunch of friends all it homebuilt or vintage light aircraft (we collectively call outselves Rainbow Formation), we will be parked up at the top end of the flightline with our aircraft on display. We will be in the parking paddock with our aircraft from time to time and showing our machines close up, answering questions and letting children (and some adults) sit in the aircraft - under supervision.

Please come and say hello. We will definitely be there on the Saturday (weather permitting) and the CAA mandate that we are on the ground by 09:30 - 09:45 at latest. May possibly be a couple of us there Sunday - but we do have another event to attend on Sunday, so probably not.

I look forward to meeting some RCHA members face to face!

YEAH ILL COME AND SAY HELLO TO YOU GUYS.but UK 3D CUP will be just on the right as you enter through the main gates(the masive field on the right hand side)you wont miss it
and the LAND TRAIN will ferry people between our location and the show line location if needed,but please note its close eneough to walk without a problem.
this is going to be a really good weekend and i know loads of people going,

im not sure whats actually there,,i havnt looked..i heard there is a shop on site.
bar yeah for sure i got peed in it.

im camping myself
you wont go short of much there

there is toilet blocks...and porta loo's etc

Built in 1767, the Granary was the last unused building on the estate until it was sympathetically restored with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the regional development agency AWM.
The Granary is open all year round and is free to enter.

totally a personal thing..i camp because of the evening stuff and have a few beers..others go into hotels etc
my kids camp with me too.and there is going to be hundreds of campers so its one of those choices
i was told there is 600 booked into weston camping already.
i dont need to camp there at all but look forward to it every year
there is loads of accomodation near to weston tho also..which is great
