North East Grassroots open for competitors

Hi,
Just thought I would drop a thread to say that we are now taking entries for the Northeast Grassroots competition held at Lindens Flying Club near Grimsby on Sunday 4th August 2013. This weekend will start on the Saturday with a fun fly for anyone that wants to come along with a small fee charged to fly.

We will be having night flying on the Saturday so get those night flyers ready and also unless anything has changed we should be having the brilliant night flying/fireworks display from the brilliant Mr Jason Platts

The club will have an onsite toilet for the weekend and we also have running water available. After some questions last year we have also agreed that anyone wishing to come down on the Friday is welcome. Prices for camping are the same as last year £5 per night and caravans have to book in with Hunger hill cottage which there number and website are linked to on the NorthEastGrassroots site.

Will update this thread as things are made available.

Just a side note. We are using the tried and tested 3D format for the competition as used in other UK competitions and also the 3D Championships.

Normally about 20 and at present 3 but only just opened it up so early days. Reason we did it as fun fly and comp is to make it a nice relaxed weekend and something for everyone We had 18 competitors last year if anything to go by. Getting more emails now as well .

I was thinking of coming up for the Friday & Saturday as well, like you say will be a chilled out weekend
