As i have had many a question etc about entry level for pilots please see below a judges statement that may help
"We leave it to pilots to decide if they are at the correct level for grassroots and enter the comp. any obvious pilots above the standard have been removed by now so it's now any ifs and maybes. Grassroots level comp and that's what we expect to see. Pilots need to judge themselves by looking at the grassroots sets and then identifying if they are flying manoeuvres above this level in their frees...tyle. Anything k1.5 champs sets and above featuring in their freestyle could be deemed as too higher standard for grassroots depending on control level of these manouvres.
If you turn up on the day competing and doing manoeuvres above this suggested standard then a pilot could be removed.
All 5 judges to watch in person on the day and discuss together, if they then fly above that level in the comp they can be pulled out still"
