That is cheap for hiring a motorhome. I have looked before at hiring one but as its normally only me that travels to these things it sorta of dont make sense paying more money out when everything fits in my car lol . It's an older audi but tbh I love the thing .. Drives great for a 12 year old car and I been looking at a newer one but they have nearly as many miles on the clock than mine haha... Just need to get some dents fixed on it lmao .
I think Air/helifest is being run by some top guys and it should be a fun weekend .. Even if Richie is getting older now and his eyesight is a little on the bad side lol..

I booked a nice hotel within 6 miles of weston's park, missus can then have a shower and a swim as its got a indoor pool, looks a nice hotel, i did look at a motor home but the £600 ut me off as the hotel was only £105 for Fri/Sat night for a double room.

Why is it when you need everything to run smoothly it all goes to pot, having loads of technical problems, plus the weather is severely restricting flying time.

But even with all that really looking forward to it still, all exciting stuff

Staying onsite at these sort of events is always the best part of it for me as you get the atmosphere and most of the fun seems to happen on the night time leg of it as well lol ...

I stayed on site last year, it was a great laugh but not much happening after midnight so a nice hotel room will do me, plus i can have a drink as the wife will drive.

Sound plan Ross lol. I have been to events where there still flying past 2am lmao . Andy Kirby's night flying last year at MK flyin was such a laugh. I like the camping side of it but always pay for it when I get home. Getting everything in the car and then out again is a pita though lol

Great idea the motor home, not a huge amount to fork out for a bit of home comforts, nice one Round at yours for a bacon buttie on Saturday morning then???
