  • looking forward to air!!!

    im really looking forward to air but at the same time a little bit nervous, going to get some practise today if the rain holds off, its only 11 days away now!!! it will be good to meet people from other clubs and to see some awesome flying cant wait.

    Wouldnt worry about it mate, i have not flown once to my music yet, and i expect will only manage to fly to it a few times if i am lucky, was planning to today but its now raining, so that aint going to happen

      I suppose I could enter,that may help take the pressure off a little..Dont worry its going to be a great day,the emphasis is on fun rather than competitiveness,I'm sure everyone will have a good time and go home grinning no matter what their results.And tbh just standing up to be counted takes guts

        I would not worry about it too much and just go out there and have some fun .. I think that Air/Helifest is gonna be an awesome weekend and one to remember

        Am looking forward to it and hoping to get there on Thursday night

          it dont look like im going to fly today as it is pi--ing it down at the mo in poole so im going to give the sim a hammering before the mrs gets me to do anything

            im planning to get there Friday late afternoon, im hiring a motor-home witch isn't cheap but hey it will be a great weekend so its worth every penny.

              How much does it cost to hire one ? ... Always thought about it but have too much fun camping tbh lol ...

                its a 6 birth its costing me £280 for 3 days hire i know its a lot of money, but me and my wife want to be able to have a shower and toilet please dont think we are snobs lol our friends are coming with us.

                  and tbh i need the room too as i only have a small car i don't think i will fit 2 heli's a tent and our 2 friends in our car.

                    Thats a cheap price for 3 days rental, i enquired about 1 [ 4 birth ] and was quoted £600 for the same weekend, seems that was about average where i looked too.

                    Where did you get it??

                      you have to put down a deposit of £500 refunded on return and refill with fuel on return motorhomeforhireuk

                        Luckily my cars not that small lol. Audi a6. I can get in my tent and all my stuff and heli's so for me camping is the ideal solution. I dont exactly slum it as I have a large tent that has one sleeping pod and the rest of the area I use as kitchen and storage lol.
