Heli Fest @ Weston Park - 16th-17th June

Hey Guy's,
As alot of you are already aware, I will be running the event this year at Weston Park model airshow on the 16th-17th June.
After listening to the feedback from the last 2 year's I've come up with a new event called "Heli Fest".
Heli Fest is designed to bring pilot's of all level's together to fly, learn and basically just have an awesome time!
There will be many new feature's this year that haven't previously been possible, and the most important one being that ANYONE can fly here. No "B cert" minimum qualifications this year (anyone without a B cert must have a caller standing next to them who does).

Here's a few teaser's to give you a few detail's;

• An open fly-in for anyone of any level.
• 4-5 well spaced flight stations.
• Flight school area on site for expert tuition or just to get a friend into the sport!
• Demonstrations slot's from some of the UK's and Europe's top pilot's.
• Trade stands
• Free product testing
• Night flying
• Excellent raffle prizes
• And the highlight attraction of the event - the all new "Air" competition, hosted by Richie and Mattie (or Mattie and Richie )

Entry for competition pilot's needs to go through the Air website when it's live, and I will be making entry for the fly-in open shortly.
£5 per day for the fly-in, and camping is available for only £10 per tent/caravan for the Friday and Saturday nights combined.

Great news Grant .. Been looking at Weston prices for camping and stuff and little bit hard if you go to this stuff on your own ... This makes it alot cheaper and the added fact anyone can fly ( with B holder ) next to them is even better .... Looking forward to it now as I like the comps and such but to be able to fly if I choose is even better

Guys the whole weekend is what we've all be waiting for. Something for everyone.

Thanks guy's, one thing I forgot to mention which is also very important is that RCHA insurance is also accepted at this event.
The prices for camping are strictly ONLY for people who have either booked into the fly-in through me, or the competition through Air. They are NOT for anyone just coming to watch the event. Entry tickets for watching can be bought on the gates or for more info go to www.westonparkmodelairshow.co.uk
Pilot Passes allow access for you and your helper's.

This sounds awsome, Ive been to the last two zone events as a spectator and really enjoyed it. Being able to participate as a novice pilot with the flight school etc is brill.
