Park Hall Flyin - 12/13 May 2012

PHHC would like to invite you to a two day fly-in on the 19th & 20th May 2012 that we hope will be bigger and better than ever!

Tents and vans welcome on Friday and Saturday nights by prior arrangement.

Night flying available on these nights BUT electric only.

Proof of BMFA insurance essential to fly, if you can't prove it, you won't be allowed to fly. BMFA insurance only accepted.

Transmitter control opens at roughly 09.30 on each day, flying from 10.00.

Refreshments will be available.

Raffle and trophies for various categories.

One flying pitch for learners flyers only, so please fly with us whatever your skill level.

No fixed wing aircraft.

Set your satnav to DE7 6HR and follow the signs.

With out going in to the ins and outs of everything, what is the reason RCHA insurance is not excepted?

They are probably affiliated with the BMFA same as our club. Its in the BMFA small print.

Am there as always ... Would not be a year without Parkhall and this will be my 4th ... Wow time flies when your having fun ..

Unless somethings changed - as far as I know its down to the clubs choice on who they allow to fly at there club. There was under the previous cover from the BMFA a recommendation to prevent flyers flying together and most clubs took there own decisions. Some accepted the RCHA others didn't.

I don't believe this year the BMFA as yet have advertised such notices.

Nigel, Henry, Pete, Gary, Matt and myself went last year, not sure they'll be up for it this year, have to say weather left a lot to be desired, but was good as always meeting up with everyone.

Goes without saying that i'll be there, would't miss this one, Paul, can you book the weather that we had for the 3D Cup for this earlier event too, i don't mind contributing to the cost lol

i took a 450 last year (its all i had) but didn't get in the air due to high winds. taking the 550 and 600LE this time so looking forward to it already
