Hi all am just gauging interest to see if any people are interested in entering a grass roots competition in the North East of England . We are thinking of doing a small grass roots competition using the format as is already used in this country details can be found here
3D Format
As most of the other comps are in different areas of the country we as a club thought it would be nice to do something more locally and for the people amongst us to actually try the competition scene without travelling massive distances to get there ... At the minute we are looking at 20 pilots maximum and charging say a small fee of £10 just to cover costs. We can provide camping for anyone that wants to come down the day before but will have to clear the costs with the farmer first . And we will provide a BBQ on the day and refreshments as well ( small fee to cover the costs ) ..Am in the process of securing some judges and also some demo pilots as well
We have ( roughly )decided on a date as the first weekend in August as this does not seem to interfere with anything currently on the calendar
So this post is just to guage interest before we commit fully to running it next year
Thanks
Mike
