  • Park hall mahooooosive thanks :-)

    Guys at Parhall club...

Huge big up for you guys at wthe Parkhall 3d cup this weekend. Yet again another great event and well managed :-)

I have to say a few words about the flying

Grass roots pilots flew very well. Rachel you improve by the day, keep at it as your time will come for victory I reckon Well done Dave for second and of course Richard for the win

Inters...this class was hot this year. 'Stubo' Dave and James you flew very well, loving the grass cutting moves and excitment you gave. Jase, I really think you were understated this year. Your improvement was very high and great to watch Keep up the great work Shane. Pedro, first in freestyle and well deserved dude Young Alex you have a bright future ahead of you, keep up the great work. Cliff the 'Flashman' Camball loving those Logo moves Richard, Andy and Jamie the top 3 were bloody awesome to watch raising the bar to the next level. Well done Jamie for your victory.....weekends best 'Clock tower' I reckon !!!!!

Pro 3d cup.....Grant flew well, nursing a new engine I believe but neither the less performed, always great to see Barney fly, super smooth and pleasing flight mate...RobGT piro death dive was wicked best all weekend, Peter Ayrss 'You rock' with that on fire 700e 3G machine....you certain kicked it's arse Dave Fisher was also on fire this weekend, loving the 700e optipowered machine mate . So that leads to the top 3. Matt Gill flew awesome all weekend and was pipped at the final post from second place. Matt you were making that 700n rock dude Adam the Srimok was super smooth, you had a few issues over the weekend but put in a great couple of flight Sunday well done. Last of all Duncan flew as usual a superb set of flights to become Parkhall 3d cup champion again..........and well deserved I reckon

Well done to all the Judges and Parkhall guys/girls that made this happen

    Till next year !!!

The Park Hall crew deserve a huge thanks for putting on such a great competition. You can clearly see that events like these achieve the objective of pushing pilots to the next level, a good example of this being the quality and high number of entrants in the inters class. This is because these pilots were in the grassroots last year but have just got better and better, so have moved up. Competitions just push people to strive to that next level, do something different, try new moves.

The weather was amazing and really makes a change for a comp in the UK as usually it is either blowing a gale or raining!

Well done Matt Taylor winning the Fastlad donated Rave.... you need to be entering Park Hall next year and flying that machine!

The flying was great, all the way from Rachel and the guys in grass roots to Duncan showing the crowd a few new moves for us all to strive for. Mattie Lodge has done a great job highlighting the pilots who are on their game and I agree that Peter Ayriss flew brilliantly with his new 700E, TREX Pedro has also gone up a gear and worked hard to pull first place freestyle out the bag. Jamie Porter deserved his win in inters with some superb sets. The rumours are also true about Mr Lodge and how hard he has been working over the winter and with his rapid rise, it is clear he will be pushing the top three next year and I would not rule him out the high places in the champs. Stu Smith also showed why he is such a respected display pilot with a couple of stunning flights - (those poor batteries!)

As for me, I got the place I deserved as Adam pulled out a couple of great final rounds to pip me for second place, but I'll just keep pushing on.

Great comp. Looking forward to next year.

Well Done Matt and thanks for your help at Zone working on Dave 2 , It's sort of a kama thing i feel you helped me and looks what happened , thanks to yet another kind gesture from Fast Lad's you are now in the Rave env club.
I know you wanted a Nitro so may be a nicly worded thank you to FL might help convert your electric to a nitro ?
Thanks also to Optifuel and Hobby Hanger who donated fuel ,(surprise, lol) and Blades, another top gesture.

Your demo flight after the event was nice too and more importantly you enjoyed it and that's what its about now stop mucking about with the grass and GET YOUR "B" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back on Track at Park Hall I called for Shane who got a very well earn't 6th place in the inters comp , which was really good then you think 5th place was Pete (Trex Pedro ?) I know Shane was a little disapointed not to make the fly off but a last min 5 am engine change and then problems didn't exactly help , I am sure Jason Platts stepped in and assisted with the set up ant one stage so thanks to Jase, and his kind help, things calmed down a bit.

The inters was absolutly on Fire this year there are so many top pilots coming up to be honest spectating and not knowing exactly what flippy piro , twisty thing is what made me find it hard to tell who was in inters or the pro cup as they wert all so darn good.

Top weather , top club , top pilots sort of sums it up for me !!!!

              Happy Flying X Rachel

What a brilliant weekend thank you to the park hall club for putting on such a great event again. Well done to all competitors it was a very tough competition this year but biggest congrats to richard for winning grassroots and duncan for experts. Rachels grassroots efforts were brilliant and it takes a lot to get up there and do it so well done! Other top flights from mattie lodge and pete ayriss! Matt gills flights were top class and I honestly thought duncan was in for a challenge from him. Alex rumbles first inters comp and what a fantastic result well done diddy man bling. And a final well done to my fiance jamie porterfor coming first in inters, worked so hard for this event and I'm glad the effort has shown. So very proud of him!

Yes, another great weekend at Park Hall. A big Thank You to the whole Park Hall team for all the organisation and letting us use your field.

Everyone flew very well, with a massive improvement from most pilots. Some very close battles going on in all classes, with only 10 normalised points between the top 4 in the Inters freestyle in round 1! It was a fantastic atmosphere with support for all the pilots and loads of people helping each other out to make sure they could fly their rounds.

It was a bit of shame to only see 3 pilots in the Grassroots level, as this is the perfect introduction into competition and generally get a lot of help and advice from fellow competitors including the best 3D pilots in the UK. Hopefully there will be more again next year

I think camping in that field worked well!!
Can't see it being a problem for next year farmer is pretty good with us.
                            I will do my best.
If I get the loos moved to the top of it then I can rotate the flight line clockwise slightly then the sun will not come into play.
No need to camp so far down that left side either.
Thanks for all the kind comments guys makes it all worth while your all welcome at Parkhall anytime, see you next year.

Great weekend with great mates. Some highs and lows but overall very enjoyable. The standard has certainly risen across the board. Congratulations to Duncan, Jamie and Richard on their victories. Thanks to the Park Hall club for welcoming us all to their site.
