Called in Midland Heli's for some bits today, Rob was polishing his trophy with Matt looking on through pandavision eyes Will try to get to one of the big events this year to spectate and hopefully meet a few of you. Still can't believe that Scotland had SUN!

Final results are in. 1st in grass roots - tim procter. 1st in intermediates - Simon Scott and 1st in experts - matt gill.

Absolutely awesome weekend!! Had a blast watching, competing, making new friends, and catching up with existing ones (and the usual suspects! ) ..

The combination of weather, organisation and atmosphere plus the extremely refined skills of the pilots that attended have made it an unforgettable weekend.. Definitely worth the trip and a must on my future flying calender..

A special thanks to the organisers for all their effort and the hard work they have done up to and during the weekend to make us feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible..

Big thanks to the Stainburn crew for the brilliant banter and a great Friday night in the pub, Del for having us in stitches on sat evening with the Waterfoot stories, Chris and Jill for supplying plenty of burgers (mmmmm..) Ian, barney and Craig for a great late night chat session, and the 2 guys in the adjacent van (i think Michael and Marius??) who gave me some very interesting brandy to try along with a life saving beer.. Also Would like to thank Rob an Mat for helping me with my heli setup in addition to Edders, Jase and Pete for providing lots of entertainment in the pits

Also would like to thank David Nolan for taking the time to give me a guided tour around the Fury 55, which is a pretty awesome piece of engineering..

A massive congratulations to the winners for a well earned victory..

Tim who showed us that hard work and commitment does pay off.. All could see that the gallons of fuel burnt over the last few months, whether it was snow or freezing cold did pay off.. Well deserved mate..

Simon flying was fantastic even with a hyper 50 that was complaining all the time when he switched to the 600.. Spot on mate, you did a fantastic job!!

And Matt had us all gasping especially with an awesome victory flight right on the edge of thistles (or should i say IN the thistles )

Wow... sounded like a great event been busy and off the forum for a few days so lost touch with all the goings on.

Really glad everyone had a great time and congrats to all the winners!! especially Tim, way to go for a first comp mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
